One of my dreams in life has always been to travel, meet people from different places, and discover their stories, cultures, and traditions. I’ve always been passionate about connecting with new lives, but I never imagined that through photography I would be able to fulfill that dream. The day I was called to capture this woman’s 95th birthday, I had no idea it would become such a profound experience. She was an extraordinary woman, with a life story so powerful that it moved me to tears as I listened to it. Today she is no longer with us, but her memory lives on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of crossing her path. She was strong, loving, kind, and a woman of unwavering Christian faith.
